What this page is about
We know connecting your Discord account can feel sensitive. This policy explains what TeamLogs collects, why we collect it, and how we keep it limited.
Data we collect when you sign in with Discord
- Your Discord user ID (used to identify your account).
- Your Discord username, display name, discriminator, and avatar (if available).
- Your Discord account email when Discord shares it through OAuth (used only for account/session identity).
- Basic session/login information needed to keep you signed in securely.
What we use your data for
- To verify that you are you when logging into TeamLogs.
- To maintain a stable sign-in identity for authentication flows that expect an email value.
- To show your profile details inside TeamLogs and connect your submissions to your account.
- To enforce staff/member permissions tied to Discord roles where required.
What we do not do
- We do not ask for your Discord password.
- We do not read your private Discord messages.
- We do not sell your Discord data to advertisers or third parties.
Who can access your data
Access is limited to authorized TeamLogs admins and systems that need the information to run the service. We only keep the data needed for moderation and form workflows.
Data retention
We keep account-linked records as long as they are needed for TeamLogs operations, moderation, and auditing. If you want your account data reviewed or removed, contact server staff.
Your choices
- You can choose not to sign in with Discord, but some TeamLogs features will not work.
- You can request correction or removal of account-linked records through staff.
